ISORA provides offshore racing in the Irish Sea and two separate Coastal Series - in Ireland and UK

Race 1a â€“ Dun Laoghaire to North Arklow Coastal Race – Saturday 26th April - (50 mile Day Race) – 10.00 start  (RAYC)

Race 1b – Pwllheli Castle Race Coastal – Saturday 26th April - (45 mile Day Race) – 11.00 start

Race 2 â€“ Holyhead  to Dun Laoghaire – Saturday 10th May  –  (75 mile offshore) - 08.00 start

Race 3 â€“ Dun Laoghaire to Holyhead – Saturday 24th May – (100 mile offshore)  - start 08.00

Race 4– Liverpool to Douglas – Midnight Race – Friday 6th June - (70 mile Offshore) – 18.00 start

Race 5 â€“ Douglas to  Dun Laoghaire – Sunday 8th June  (80 mile Offshore) – start TBA

Race 6 â€“ Dun Laoghaire Day Coastal Race – Lighthouse Race - Saturday 12th July (35 mile Offshore) - start 10.00

Race 7 â€“ Dun Laoghaire to Pwllheli – KONA feeder to Welsh IRC Championships - Saturday 26th July - start 08.00 (RAYC)

Race 8a  - Dun Laoghaire to North India Coastal Night Race – Friday 8th August (Night Race) – 20.00 Start (RAYC)

Race 8b – Pwllheli to Causeway Coastal Night Race – Friday 8th August (Night Race) – 20.45 Start

Race 9 â€“ Dun Laoghaire to ODAS M2 Buoy Coastal Race – Saturday 23rd  August  (Day Race) – 10.00 start (RAYC)

Race 10 â€“ Pwllheli to Dun Laoghaire – Saturday 6th September (80 mile Offshore) – 08.00 start

Amendment 18th April 2024

A race will be added to the Welsh Coastal Series as Race 17 CW5 - this will be run on 15th June - best three races out of 5 to count in the series.


2024 Class bands are anticipated as follows:

Class 0 = 1.070 or greater
Class 1 = 1.010 to 1.069
Class 2 = 1.009 or less

2024 bands will be published before the first Race.
