This race is the first Ofshore race in the MUSTO UK ISORA 2021 Offshore Series.
Amendment to SSIs for Race No. 5 Offshore Wales (OW)
1. Notifications on Trackers in SSIs 13.3 and 13.6 should now be by the WhatsApp Group messaging (WhatsApp - ISORA -UK Series)

1. PSC1 substituted for PSC2
2. In the event of the course being shortened - pass Archdeacon as per mark of the course - the finish line is an undefined length north of the Buoy, not 0.3m as previously published.
3. Course shortening will be announced. by the lead boat on CH17, and subject to phone signal posted on the ISORA UK 2021 WhatsApp group
Shortening in the event of a slow race to allow boats to get to the Sunday lunchtime lock in Liverpool.
If the first boat doesn’t cross a line running north from Ethel Rock Cardinal by 00:00 Sunday then the finish will be moved to a line running 0.3nm North of Archdeacon Cardinal.

Shorten Course for Race 13 CW
At 1500hrs BST all yachts that have not finished must record their GPS position at that time and supply it to the Race Committee.
This will be used to calculate the distance made good along the rhumb-line. Should a yacht not be exactly on the rhumb-line at 1500, the rhumb-line distance will be established by taking a line from the yacht’s position to the rhumb-line and at right angles to the rhumb-line.
The yacht’s distance made good along the rhumb-line will be divided by the elapsed time of the race to give the Actual Average Speed.
For a yacht not finishing by 15000 hrs, the rhumb-line distance from the start to the finish will be divided by the yacht's elapsed time for the entire course to give the Actual Average Speed.
The Actual Average Speed, however derived, will be divided by the yacht’s IRC number to give the Corrected Average Speed.

14.1 Course shortening - if the leading boat fails to pass St Tudwal's West lighthouse (bearing 090 degrees) by 11:35 BST then the course will be shortened to miss out Causeway and route direct to finish. This will be called on CH17 by the leading boat if applicable

1. The St Tudwals island Mark includes carreg y trai.
2. Plas Heli finish line is defined in 15.1 this is not the normal club finish line
