5‍0 Years of ISORA - 2022 Season

Race No7 and the 3rd race Offshore is on Saturday 11th June. This is a challenging 120-mile race from Dun Laoghaire. 

 

The MUSTO 2022 ISORA series has already attracted a strong and competitive fleet with 30 entered the series so far.

 

For the race on Saturday, we will see 21 competitors on the three start lines with Class 2 off first at 0800 with six starters, then the seven boats in Class 1 boats at 0830, followed by eight Class 0 boats at 0900hrs.

 

The race has been set to take the fleet down the coast to India South (just off Wicklow), and then to M2, the Weather buoy which is halfway to Holyhead, then north west to Dunany. Then a long 30nm leg south to the Finish line outside Howth at Rowen Rocks.

Skippers are reminded that it is compulsory to register crew on the ISORA Crew Manager App.

 'Supplemental Sailing Instructions' (SSIs).

 

For every Race, we will publish ' Supplemental Sailing Instructions' (SSIs). This will give race specific instructions and must be read by all skippers.

 

The SSIs can be accessed from the web site from a number of different directions

  • From the Notice of Race just click on the SSIs link 
  • From the web site > Notice Board> Race Supplemental Sailing Instructions and the choose the race 
  • From the 2022 Calendar. Select the race on the relevant date and follow the link to the SSIs

 

We will always publish the SSIs on the home page of the web site before the race, along with the course for that race.
